Editing the mk II's RAW files on my current machine (dual 1GHz G4) is s...l...o...w (especially using DxO Optics Pro software -- highly recommended). The 5d is quite a technical handful. Two months into owning it, I am still moving up its learning curve. It looks like I'll have it all figured out about the time I move to a new mac -- which is one way to go about this.
