What i love most about gigs is attending the smaller intimate shows that bands usually organise before playing a bigger show at a later date, in this case it was Camera Obscura playing at Lexington before they play Shepherds Bush Empire and other similar sized venues.

Yup I did a fist pump finding out that Emmy the Great is playing at Queen Festival Hall, Southbank. Tickets are on sale today for Southbank members (funny that, I just “coincidently” bought a year membership to Southbank (lies)) and to general public tomorrow via this link.

Once again, a day originally planned for sleeping and eating was rescheduled to another impromptu gig. This time it was Hauschka busking at Arnold Circus once again from the awesome guys at bandstand busking (keep the shows coming!). It wasn’t really announced via email or anything so it was only known through word of the mouth variety.

The Acorn at Brixton Windmill

Not much gigging this month, today however I was able to spend the second holiday relaxing some more and then checking out the Acorn play live at Brixton Windmill, it was quite an intimate show with the band admitting that they were more nervous playing in front of us than a big crowd at say Wembley Arena.
