Emmy the Great to play Queen Festival Hall
Yup I did a fist pump finding out that Emmy the Great is playing at Queen Festival Hall, Southbank. Tickets are on sale today for Southbank members (funny that, I just “coincidently” bought a year membership to Southbank (lies)) and to general public tomorrow via this link.

The Acorn at Brixton Windmill
Not much gigging this month, today however I was able to spend the second holiday relaxing some more and then checking out the Acorn play live at Brixton Windmill, it was quite an intimate show with the band admitting that they were more nervous playing in front of us than a big crowd at say Wembley Arena.
Patrick Wolf at Heaven (now with headset)
Ah man that was an epic gig, shame I had a burning desire to strangle most of the fans at the gig. Patrick Wolf is by far the most photogenic and charismatic person I’ve seen this year.
Vortex Tour East at Rough Trade… East
I actually had no idea what to expect when I went over to Rough Trade East during my lunch break to see 3 artists do a free performance at Rough Trade East, but at the end I was glad I went.
Peter, Bjorn and John at Scala
I managed to catch Peter, Bjorn and John live at Scala tonight, it was an evening filled with scary monitors, crazy dancing and a nice dose of music from Sweden.
