Today was a lovely surprise (well technically it was meant to be delivered on Friday but I missed it). I finally got my batch of badges from pinkfairywand.etsy.com. They were pretty awesome and even came with a cute note and some pop rocks (mmm sweets)
I find people at Etsy to be incredibly friendly and awesome! I’d recommend it if you want some customised stuff made for you! Be it a knitted katamari hat or an entire pikachu outfit custom fitted (mwahaha).

So status for today, I have a cold! my throat is killing me and I feel ever so drowsy. I’ve however had a lot of sleep and am drinking lots of water to make sure I feel better, will nip out to the chemist to see what they have to offer but for now it’s just Lockets and water (might whip out the old tea too).

Need to go out to buy some stuff for letters / gifts and whatnot! Not only that I still need to buy a damn ink pad for my stamp. Otherwise it’s all nice and coolio the kitten, will be seeing kev later on this evening for a man date meal type thing!

Grilled teriyaki steak on a bed of teppan fried soba noodles with curry oil, mangetout, red chillies, red and spring onions, ginger, beansprouts and bok choi. with teriyaki sauce, coriander and mixed sesame seeds.

Twas a lovely evening of eating out with a bunch of people, playing dodgems, drinking strawberry malts and enjoying some california dreaming. More on that later on

Ah got to love turning up fashionably late to random meetups

Today for lunch we went to have lunch in the Gherkin (big phallic shaped butt plug type building you occasionally see during those cheesy pan shots of london on the Apprentice (UK)). I told the lady "can I have a 28 days rib eye MEAT!" instead of steak. Oh how childish am I teehee.

The steak was all kinds of awesome and it was pretty decent quality and money wise for a pub restaurant type place inside the Gherkin. Lets see what people shop for tomorrow (steak, you know you want to)

An update on photos and what not, I’m going to leave photo uploading and blogging for the weekend. Just been so busy that my sleep is declining, I really need some quality sleep (and luckily I have holidays so I’m going to play catchup).

I’ve caught a man flu too Lots of coughing, sneezing, and stuffy eyes and nose. Should pull through though!

So yeah, the pains of owning a slim phone like this is that the phone slips out of your pocket ever so easily and can get lost just like that. Panic arises when I noticed my ever so empty right pocket (left = wallet, right = phone in case you’re ever needing to mug me ) and started struggling to find the phone. You spend about 15 minutes doing this until you realise that all hope is lost and that you’re kidding yourself to find a phone randomly in some random pocket that you never ever use.

So anyway, panic only receded for 15 minutes, afterwards I felt optimistic that it would be found, after all, it has all my details, I know my own number, so a quick call on the mobile will solve everything. Arrive at my office, phoned my mobile like no tomorrow and BOOM, picked up, a nice lady called Claire had picked it up and works only one stop away from me so woot. Meeting up in the afternoon to pick it up!
