Going to watch 2046 at the Troc today, will post more about it after seeing it Keep it all real

…ok had a lovely weekend and all, more below

went to leicester square to see B. had a little squabble and played some random drum game, B. got a bit cheesed because I selected versus mode and it all the songs required some heavy drumming. twas mad.
Lots of evil DDR kids lurching about at funland today, there was some japanese boy who totally screwed up at the end. if you can’t play the song, don’t play it :p

anyhows, back to the film. the cinema was WEE! the screen was about 3 metres wide. everything was wee and only old people were in the cinema. probably because its a foreign film and its quite out of date hehe. back to the film. The film… *googles for synopsis*

He was a writer. He thought he wrote about the future but it really was the past. In his novel, a mysterious train left for 2046 every once in a while. Everyone who went there had the same intention…..to recapture their lost memories. It was said that in 2046, nothing ever changed. Nobody knew for sure if it was true, because nobody who went there had ever come back- except for one. He was there. He chose to leave. He wanted to change.

twas a good film. very good film indeed. though i only just found out it cots £8 to buy on dvd (multiregion). should of looked at that beforehand. guess its good to go for the cinematic experience (or a lack of hehe). my butt nearly collapsed durin the end of the film. I can’t handle films that are over 2 hours long in the cinemas (yes, imagine me in lord of the rings or matrix, massive anal collapsiveness).

after that me and B. went to chinatown and shopped for some food to eat tommorow. also bought B.’s mummy some little snacks and presents for mothers day. twas all fun et all. that evening we had spaghetti that B. made by herself (till the end when her mum took over). yummy meal.

the whole weekend was fun. now B. has a chamber music competition so i’m stuck at home filling out this blog. going to go out and eat in a bit
