Love is All at Lexington

Love is All at Lexington (130/365)

Well, its weekend again and I thought I’d do more gig catching up, ever so tempted to just dunk it all in one go but I feel like I’m not giving bands any justice, so I’ll just find a midway line and write super short reviews that aren’t really reviews. For this gig I caught Swedish band Love is All live at Lexington, you can never get enough of that swedish techno coffee (not that they’re techno or taste like coffee (well i haven’t actually proved that but whatever).

I can’t even remember how the support sounded like, but I believe this was THE night where I actually had to endure some of the worse supports there were. I think one of them kept going “WILDBIRDS” in their song which I joked to anika at how they’d follow up with “PEACEDRUMS”, that didn’t impress her, they were simply bad so we popped downstairs.

Anyway, more on the gig and other bits and bobs, I believe this was also the night where I saw a creepy guy with a canon 5d mk ii, i told Anika how people who own 5d mk ii bare great responsibility in doing good to it, this guy however wasn’t, he kept lurking around the place taking photos of the crowd when they least expect it, but not in the nice photography on a mission kinda way, more like pleasuring himself after every shot kinda way.

More on Love is All, singer Josephine was all kinds of adorable in that ickle black top/dress, she spoke in a shy swedish accent. The set seemed really short but enjoyable at the same time. It kinda makes me want to see a London based festival where all swedish bands play there, would be all kinds of awesome.

I have a few videos on vimeo so check them out :)
